How did you pick your business name ?

This is a queston I've wanted to answer for a long time. No one has asked, so unless you are curious, this could be one to skip or come back to later.

Circle Celebrations was named because

  • A circle represents God, who has no beginning or end.

  • The circle is a symbol of eternity like a wedding ring.

  • A circle is a group of people sharing a common interest and relating together socially.

  • Then there is the concept of family circle

  • and the circle of life.

  • A circle repersents fun "party" things like cake plates, balloons & bubbles

  • And also because of a poem written by American poet Edwin Markham*

  • From 1923 to 1931 he was Poet Laureate of Oregon.

  • In 1922, Markham's poem "Lincoln, the Man of the People" was selected from 250 entries to be read at the dedication of the Lincoln Memorial.

(*Quoted from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

He drew a circle that shut me out — Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout. But Love and I had the wit to win: We drew a circle that took him in!

The "Celebrations and Events" part of our name is pretty self–explanatory.

And the bottom line: I believe God gave me this name as an answer to prayer.

The service I offer is in Jesus' name and for His glory.
